Our Clients own a narrow plot of land within a Conservation Area in the village of Quorn, in Leicestershire that is currently occupied by a small outbuilding and an underutilised garden space. Immediate adjacencies to the site constrain its development and inform the geometry of the concept. A subterranean link to an existing terraced property annexes the dwelling to an existing residence and is conceived to provide a space for living, working and entertaining. Our Clients are passionate about contemporary design and we have worked with them to develop a concept that challenges the local vernacular and creates a modern, functional  space within a traditional setting.
